When you become a Youth Ambassador, your suppawt will help provide vital services, including these incredible Guide Dogs, to people with low or no vision right across Queensland.

By helping us reach our goal of $20,000 you will be suppawting the Guide Dogs Queensland Nursery, which is a Guide Dog Pup’s very first home. This is where our pups start their imPAWtant journey to becoming a life-changing companion, providing freedom and independence to Queenslanders who are blind or vision impaired.

Did you know it takes a minimum of two years and costs more than $50,000 to transform one of our gorgeous pups into a life-changing Guide Dog?

HOW DOES IT WORK?

We ask that each Youth Ambassador pledges to host or take part in two fundraising activities during the 2020 school year. This can be as simple as hosting a BARK-B-Q at home with family and friends, holding a PupCake drive, gathering prizes for a raffle or asking your school to get involved with a Free Dress Day.

When you register you’ll receive your own online fundraising page to share with family and friends and track your progress. Our dedicated fundraising team will be on hand to assist you every step of the way!

Once your registration is complete all Youth Ambassadors will receive an official Youth Ambassador Kit which includes:

SCHOOL TEAMS

Have you got a keen pack of pups (or people) that would like to suppawt Guide Dogs? Would you like a visit from one of our labr-ra-adorable Guide Dogs in-training? Why not start a school team!

When you register a school team, we’ll send out a special school kit which includes your very own Guide Dog Mascot! Why not kick off your fundraising with a competition to name your mascot? We also have plenty of resources on hand to help educate your class about the imPAWtant journey of our pups.

INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPANTS

$250 - Suppawter Stationery Pack

$500 - Raise a Pup Pack (Guide Dogs Plush & Dog Bowl)

$1500 - Exclusive Puppy Play Date on site at Guide Dogs Queensland, Bald Hills

$3000 - Youth Ambassador Suppawter Award – Presented to you at your school with a puppy or Guide Dog in-training in attendance

SCHOOL PARTICIPANTS

$500 - Puppy Pals Membership for the school for 12 months

$1000 - Class visit from a Guide Dog in-training

$5000 - Site Tour : Invite for class group of 25 to an exclusive on site tour of our Nursery & Training facility at Bald Hills
